GladChild: Nose bleeding is common in naturally by the children, you do not need to be overly concerned with this situation. So what do you do first if your child has a nosebleed?
Here are five simple steps to cope with nosebleeds in children:
- Reassure your child not to panic and follow these steps
- Tell your child to sit upright and leaning forward
- Press your child's nose just above the nostrils and under nose. Keep your child to breathe through the mouth and nose press your child for 5 minutes.
- If after 5 minutes of blood that comes out still have not stopped, press again for 5 minutes.
- If after 10 minutes on your child's nosebleed has not stopped, then certainly it is not unusual nosebleeds and you must immediately bring your child to the hospital.
