One important thing to understand that when parents teaching ethics or correcting the child, try to never embarrass them in public. Here are eight tips on how to teaching ethics in children:
  1. Being a good example. No fair if you expect decency of children, if you do not apply the same behavior.
  2. Teach them gradually, because the understanding and ability to continue to grow. Maybe there would be no point in asking children 2 years to stop chewing with your mouth open. Because, he does not have an understanding and physical coordination to comply. However, in children 4 or 5 years old, he already has the ability to understand the reasoning behind the rule.
  3. Start using words and phrases, like "please", "thank you", "excuse me", "sorry", and "Could I?" As early as possible when speaking near your child. Encourage them to do the same.
  4. Carefully select the word you say when it was near the little guy. They imitate the way adults talk.
  5. Also taught the basics of other ethics. Children must learn how to shake hands, show respect to parents, behave calmly in public places, and not disturb other people in conversation. He also must learn not to play with the goods of others unless permitted.
  6. Avoid ignoring bad behavior, or waiting to talk about it. Remind or create a rule immediately after the child made a mistake.
  7. Behavior rises more personally so you can discuss it more thoroughly and make sure your child understands how to behave in the future.
